I am not much of a blogger. I mean I get the concept, I enjoy reading other people’s and I as of right now I am willing to learn about it. Till now Twitter has been my blog, 140 characters or less is safe. This is new. I probably won’t blog about anything important with the exception of How I Met Your Mother. I feel like it’s going to come up a lot. But aside from blogging about pointless things this blog IS for class and the video we watched was informative and clearly dated. I had no idea where the idea for the internet spanned from, now I do and I appreciate everyone who made it possible for me to be blogging right now.

This is a pretty weak post in terms of discussing the history of the Internet. The video may be dated, but that doesn’t make the information less valid or less correct. Hopefully it gave you better insight on how the Internet works. Plus, we watched two other videos in class, that you could have also included in your comments. We’ll be watching other, more current videos throughout the semester that deal with the current state of the Web.
We’ll be doing a variety of exercises with the blog, so hopefully you’ll find something to write about. It’s a good way to explore a topic – even How I Met Your Mother
, participate in a community and eventually find employment. Use the Pages feature to develop this site into a comprehensive Web site in which you can professionally represent yourself.
We’ll talk about embedded your Twitter in the sidebar, too, so that will help get more content posted on the site on a regular basis.
